In his recent interview with former football player Hugo Sanchez for ESPN, he told on how many years he still has left in the sport. “I would like to stay in the sport for four or five more seasons. Moreover, I wouldn’t like to reach 40 and still be in Formula 1, I want to do other things in life.”

“Meanwhile, I want to change my life 100 percent. I want to try other things. I want to learn about business. The easiest thing would be to stay involved in F1, because I would have opportunities in this world, but I want something different,” Perez added.
The 32-year-old is perhaps one of the most experienced drivers on the grid, with his experience helping him get comfortable and make progress at Red Bull. He recently won his first-ever Monaco Grand Prix and his third overall in his long F1 career.

Perez made his Formula 1 debut back in 2011, so it’s justifiable why he later added that he needs to carry on with a calmer life away from the spotlight. However, Perez will stay a critical figure at Red Bull, having marked another agreement that runs until 2024.
Thank you for all the trust and for making me part of this family for two more years! Vamooos!

Moreover, family is vital to Perez, and he as of late became a dad for the third time with his spouse Carola Martinez in spite of rumors about conceivable unfaithfulness. However, it doesn’t appear to be those tales have any basis as Carola went with him to the latest Grand Prix, with pictures present on the social media platforms demonstrating her presence.
Meanwhile, Perez is second in the drivers’ standings with 129 points and just behind his teammate Max Verstappen who leads the charts with 175 points. Moreover, Leclerc after finishing fifth in Montreal is now just three points shy of Perez and is mounting serious pressure on the Mexican.
