Formula 1 News: Williams video reveals fresh new 2022 livery: Williams looks all set for a new livery and new colours on its Formula 1 car in the upcoming 2022 season. They have also shared a video on social media about some major changes to the car as well. Follow InsideSport.IN for more Formula 1 News and Updates.

The UK-based team is all set to launch their car on February 15th, where they will be unveiling their new branding. But ahead of that event, Williams drivers Nicholas Latifi and Alex Albon have been filmed getting their first look at the colours.

Both the drivers were surprised at what they saw and it hints towards a big departure from the last season. Williams posted a video of their reactions after they were shown the 2022 car and livery on social media on Wednesday.

Nicholas Latifi said, “This is completely different and fresh. I think I used this word last year also, but it applies more this year. This is really cool actually. I think it is going to look nice under the lights and also in the photos.”

Alex Albon, who is coming back to the Formula 1 scene after a gap of one year was also equally impressed. His comments about which new colour would be on the car this year were edited out.

Alex Albon said, “I like it. I would say it’s more like Williams. It is more simple in terms of the colour scheme. There’s a little bit of **** in it. I like the **** in it.”

Latifi further added, “There’s a new colour involved this year and I’m a big fan of it. It also highlights some pretty cool features on the car. It has a different pattern from what we are used to.”

Williams have used their traditional colours blue and white but this year it is going to be different. Last year, the design featured hints of yellow and different tones of blue as well on the engine cover.

Williams 2021 season car

Williams had an encouraging outing last season as they finished eighth in the Constructors’ Championship. All thanks to their drivers Nicholas Latifi and George Russell. Russell kept on impressing everyone last year in the Williams outfit.

George Russell has made a move to Mercedes and will now be the teammate of Lewis Hamilton. Whereas, Alex Albon takes his place after moving up from his reserve driver role at Red Bull.
