Nicholas Latifi said, “I already feel that the event is kind of behind me. It was obviously a very tricky few days with whatever was going on afterward. But, it is part of the sport.”
“It was something that I was expecting to happen and I also mentioned it in my social media post too. I’m kind of past it now and looking forward to the 2022 season.”
Meanwhile, the debate over the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the fate of the race director, Michael Masi still lingers on. The 2022 season is just around the corner and can’t start soon enough as far as Nicholas Latifi is concerned.

Latifi added, “For sure, once the season gets started, it will give people something else to talk about. It’s long in the past for me now.”
The Canadian driver will be driving for Williams in his third year. Latifi finished in the 21st position with no points in the 2020 season. He did manage to score just 7 points and finished in the 17th position in the 2021 season.
