Formula 1 News: Haas first to launch NEW CAR for 2022 season livery as the dates have been announced

Haas’s new car, the VF-22 will feature input from their highly-rated technical director Simone Resta. Simone joined Haas from Ferrari to develop the 2022 car as the new era of regulations in Formula 1 begins from the 2022 season.

Haas had a difficult outing the last season as they were unable to score even a single point. They will hope to make their way in the midfield region of the Constructor’s table in the 2022 season.

Haas is continuing with the Ferrari power as they acquired additional Ferrari personnel at the start of the 2021 season. Even the Ferrari team is looking to cut down on their staff to meet the cost cap restrictions.

The car has been designed to the new Formula 1 rules. Revised aerodynamics will improve wheel-to-wheel racing and even the new 18 inch Pirelli tyres.

Mick Schumacher, is the son of legendary Michael Schumacher who has seven Formula 1 World titles to his name is joined by his partner, Nikita Mazepin, whose father owns the team’s title sponsor Uralkali. The team will sport the same Russian-themed livery as they did last year.

Mick impressed everyone in the latter part of the 2021 season. He got the most out of his non-performing Haas car and even jumped positions. Nikita was not as good as Schumacher but he will also be looking to progress forward ahead of the upcoming season.
