The reason for the resident’s claim is that the noise from the race would ‘make serious interruption and actual damage Miami Gardens inhabitants’. They quote an engineering company’s gauge that clamor of possibly 97 decibels for homes up to a distance of 2.5 miles from the circuit would be capable ‘Like the sound levels created by a chainsaw’.
