Mercedes has acknowledged that they are exploring a new design philosophy after disappointing performances in the first two races of the 2023 season. This approach is different from the one they adopted in the 2022 campaign after facing challenges.
In an earlier interview with Sky Sports F1, Wolff expressed his anticipation for a significant change in the appearance of the W14 by the middle of the season.
He has since reiterated that no significant modifications will be made during Azerbaijan (April 30) or Miami (May 7) races, despite a four-week break following the upcoming Australian GP.
