Formula 1: Max Verstappen reveals post-retirement plans: Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has shared his post-retirement plans, saying he won’t be staying in the sport after he retires. The Dutch driver has claimed he would do ‘fun things’ instead of a managerial or advisory job. Follow Formula 1 Live Updates on InsideSport.IN.

The defending world champion, who finished third in the Monaco GP said, “You will not see me as an analyst or in a team role. I don’t have the motivation for that. If I no longer drive myself, I want to do other fun things.”

The 2021 World Champion signed a new contract with Red Bull after taking home his maiden F1 title last year. His contract will see him with the team till 2028, so retirement not going to be something he needs to contemplate any time soon.

Verstappen added that he might try to continue in the strides of his dad Jos, who got back to serious hustling recently at 49 years old, ending a 13-year break by competing in chosen rounds of the Belgian Rally Championship.

On the other hand, the Red Bull driver has started the 2022 season on a great note after winning four races out of seven. Although, he retired twice from the first three races, there’s no stopping him now as he looks comfortable with the RB18 challenger.

He is leading the drivers’ standings with 125 points. Meanwhile, his teammate Sergio Perez is in the third spot with 110 points, as Red Bull enjoy supremacy in the constructors’ championship standings.
