Formula 1: Lewis Hamilton still has faith in Mercedes despite nightmare start: Mercedes’ driver Lewis Hamilton has had a torrid start to the 2022 season and has just finished on the podium just once in the Bahrain Grand Prix. Since then, he’s been reeling behind and struggling to find any kind of race pace. However, despite all the hardships, he has faith in his team and claims ‘we will make a comeback’. The Brit driver has shown faith in his team and feels they will come out of this together as one. “I love working with this team. Being in a team is such a privilege and working with so many people towards a common goal. And everyone lifted each other up. Incredible how supportive everyone has been through the difficult times, and then we’ve had the most incredible times together,” the seven-time world champion said.

“This is where we unite. This is where we learn more about ourselves as individuals. This is where we grow the most. And it makes that eventual success which I have no doubts we will eventually get to taste even better,” he further added.

Meanwhile, there are endless rumours of Hamilton being unsatisfied with Mercedes. Former driver Mika Hakkinen feels that he might make a switch to other teams as Hamilton looks unhappy at Mercedes.

“I wonder how Lewis behaves in the team meetings. I bet he’s sulking. I can imagine the sulking. There’s lots of complaining and whining. He’s been at Mercedes for years and won multiple championships. Now that things are not going well, he’ll start thinking of switching teams,” Hakkinen said.

Meanwhile, the Brit driver puts forward his respect to the team and claims all these reports are rubbish about him leaving Mercedes. He feels everybody is working hard back at the factory and will sort out all the issues currently faced by the team. Everybody needs to keep calm and work together as one.
