In a video uploaded by McLaren, Daniel Ricciardo is seen pulling off a hilarious prank on Charles Leclerc. The Aussie driver is seen sitting in a car alongside a friend, and just as when the unsuspecting Monegasque driver was approaching the car, Ricciardo caught him by surprise by blowing the car horn, leaving Leclerc visibly rattled.

Both the drivers have had contrasting starts to the new Formula 1 season. Charles Leclerc sees himself on the top of the driver’s standings, whereas Daniel Ricciardo is reeling in eleventh place with just 8 points from three races.
The Australian Grand Prix proved to be a good outing for both the McLaren team and Daniel Ricciardo. The McLaren driver scored his first points of the season after finishing sixth behind his teammate Lando Norris.

However, keeping this standalone race aside, his position in the team looks a bit dicey. McLaren’s contract with Ricciardo runs till 2023, with an option to extend further for the upcoming years. But given his string of lukewarm performances, it is not clear yet if we will see Danny Ric wearing the papaya colours beyond this season.
On the other hand, Charles Leclerc is having a pretty contrasting season. He has accumulated 71 points from the three races and is the number one contender to win the drivers’ championship.
The Ferrari man won the season opener at Bahrain Grand Prix and followed it up with a P2 finish at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Later on, he went on to win the Australian Grand Prix as well.
