The 40-year-old Spaniard’s girlfriend 39-year-old Austrian journalist. The duo were spotted consistently liking each other’s photographs on Instagram, which led to the emergence of relationship rumours.

Presently, those speculations have proven to be right as the pair have been spotted together multiple times. Spanish media claimed that Alonso recently flew in a personal luxury plane to Austria to meet his lady love. Meanwhile, the pair both shared pictures together after Miami’s F1 debut that appeared to affirm the news.

Alonso even shared a video of Schlager riding a horse and captioned it ‘Happy Horse, Powerful Beauty’. Meanwhile, Schlager was seen in a helmet similar to Alonso and tagged him with the caption ‘Safety First’.

Recently, in maybe the clearest sign of the pair’s relationship yet, Schlager posted one more photograph with Alonso and said, ‘Looking forward to another summer’ as F1 will have a break that time of the season.

Schlager is a known name in F1 as she used to work with the legendary Bernie Ecclestone. Her rose to fame in F1 came last season when coincidently Alonso made his way back to the grid. The Austrian journalist has previously worked in tennis and ice hockey.

Alonso was previously hitched to Spanish vocalist Raquel del Rosario. However, the pair broke up in 2011, while the driver then started dating Italian model Linda Morselli for a considerable length of time before their separation.
