Red Bull Racing happens to be the only team to win all the Indian GP during its three-year stint at the Buddh International Circuit.
Red Bull Racing is one of the most successful teams in the history of Formula One, having won four consecutive Constructors’ Championships from 2010 to 2013. Among their star drivers was Sebastian Vettel, who won four consecutive Drivers’ Championships with the team from 2010 to 2013.
One of the notable achievements of Red Bull Racing was winning all three Indian Grand Prix races with Sebastian Vettel at the wheel. The Indian Grand Prix was first held in 2011 at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Red Bull Racing dominated the first race, with Vettel starting from pole position and leading every lap to win by over eight seconds. He repeated the feat in 2012 and 2013, with the team once again winning the Constructors’ Championship in the latter year.

The success of Red Bull Racing in India has been a source of inspiration for many young Indian drivers, including Jehan Daruvala. Daruvala is a racing driver from Mumbai who has been associated with the Red Bull Junior Team since 2017. He has been steadily rising through the ranks of motorsport, with notable achievements including winning the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship and scoring his first points in Formula 2 in 2021.
Red Bull’s promotion of Daruvala in India is part of their wider strategy to expand their presence in the country. India is one of the world’s largest markets for energy drinks, and Red Bull has been active in sponsoring sporting events and teams in the country. In addition to motorsport, Red Bull has also been involved in football, sponsoring clubs such as RB Leipzig in Germany and Red Bull Brasil in Brazil.
Red Bull’s sporting focus is not just limited to sponsorship, however. The company has also invested heavily in developing young talent through its Red Bull Junior Team program.
The program identifies promising young drivers and provides them with funding, training, and support to help them progress through the ranks of motorsport. Many of the program’s graduates have gone on to have successful careers in Formula One and other top-level motorsport categories.
