The car manufacturer said in a statement, “The funds will be channeled through the Emilia- Romagna Region. In collaboration with the Red Cross and UNHCR. It will fund international humanitarian projects supporting Ukraine as well as local initiatives. They will focus on the reception of refugees in the Italian region.”

“Additionally, aid will go to the Association Chernobyl of Maranello, Fiorano, Formigine. ONLUS to provide for the needs of the Ukrainians who will be hosted in the area near the Company.”

“Furthermore, given the ongoing situation Ferrari has taken the decision to suspend the production of vehicles for the Russian market until further notice. We continue to monitor the situation closely. And will always respect all rules, regulations, and sanctions.”

Ferrari chief executive Benedetto Vigna said, “Ferrari stands alongside everyone in Ukraine affected by this ongoing humanitarian crisis. While we hope for a rapid return to dialogue and a peaceful solution, we cannot remain indifferent to the suffering of everyone affected.”
“Our thoughts and support go out to them. We are playing our small part alongside the institutions that are bringing immediate relief to this situation.”

Formula 1: Ferrari eyeing for a top spot in 2022
Ferrari ended last season in the third position in the Constructors’ standings with 323.5 points. Their main rivals are McLaren but they look to compete against Red Bull and Mercedes this year. With the new set of regulations coming in this year, they will surely look to compete for the top spot.
Formula 1: Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will drive for Ferrari in 2022Their drivers for this year in Formula 1 are again Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Carlos Sainz finished last year with 164.5 points and was ranked fifth in the Driver’s standings. Whereas, his teammate Charles Leclerc was seventh and just 5.5 points shy of Carlos.
The second pre-season in Bahrain will start from 10th to 12th March. The first pre-season was held in Barcelona from 23rd to 25th February. Teams will look to make use of the second pre-season before the season kick starts on March 20th.
