Formula 1: It is all flaming red on the tracks of Formula 1, as teams are preparing for the upcoming Baku City Circuit. However, Red Bull has already started getting defensive with their position. In the recent exchanges, Red Bull Principal Christian Horner has dismissed claims from Ferrari stating it ‘premature’. Follow Formula 1 LIVE Updates with InsideSport.IN.
Despite the penalty in 2022, Red Bull has clearly established dominance in the early season of Formula 1. Last October, Red Bull was fined $7M which made them reduce their wind tunnel time by 10%, for the next 12 months. This caused Red Bull a heavy financial blow, making its expenses go almost $2.2M above the spending limit of $145M.

Vasseur, in a recent interview, called the penalty ‘quite light’, in regard to its performance. When asked about the Ferrari chief’s comments, Horner replied, “Everybody’s got an opinion and I think everybody’s free to have an opinion.”
“The team has done a great job over the winter on limited wind-tunnel time that we’ve had to develop this car. Of course that will have an impact later into the year and next year. So on a snapshot of three races, I think it’s still hugely premature in (terms of) this season, there’s an awful lot of racing still to go”, Horner added.

Red Bull closed the season opener in Bahrain and the last race in Australia with a win with Max Verstappen. On the other hand, Sergio Perez bagged the Saudi Arabian GP.
Not only this, but Red Bull also clearly demonstrated its power when Verstappen pulled the game from 15th to the second position in Saudi Arabia. The Butch driver was almost eliminated in the first round of qualifying due to a major technical failure.

Acknowledging the potential of change, Horner even showed his gratitude and said that Red Bull was not taking anything for granted. The team is working under the constraints and putting up an excellent delivery on the tracks.
