Formula 1: Multi21 – Malaysian Grand Prix

According to the order by the Red Bull team, Vettel was supposed to not overtake his then teammate Mark Webber in the Malaysian Grand Prix as Webber was leading it. But, in the dying stages of the race, Vettel did the unthinkable and overtook his teammate to clinch the win.

“Multi-21, Seb. Multi-21!,” shouted the dejected Mark Webber at his teammate. Vettel tried his best to not celebrate his win on the podium as Mark Webber ignored his teammate’s existence.

At the time maybe Vettel dismissed a team order for individuals, yet the reality of the situation was a long way from it. As of late, Red Bull Team head Christian Horner uncovered Vettel’s inspiration for the Malaysia occurrence. As indicated by him, it had its underlying foundations from the last race of the past season.

Ultimately, Vettel crossed the line in the first spot as he was 1.3 seconds ahead of Hamilton but then the penalty came into existence, and Hamilton was awarded the race win. In the Parc Ferme itself, Vettel took the number 2 signpost and placed it ahead of Hamilton’s car.
