Charles Leclerc is having a season to cherish so far as he has started on the front row in all the five races so far. He spun on his first flying lap in the Q3 session but he came out all guns blazing in the ending stages of the Q3 session to take the pole position. He was followed by Max Verstappen, who stopped in his last flying lap as he lost the power of his RB18. Meanwhile, the Spaniard Carlos Sainz had to settle for a third-place spot but he will be looking to change his fortunes on Sunday.

Mercedes have shown immense improvement after bringing upgrades to their W13 challenger. George Russell finds himself fourth as he is followed by Sergio Perez in the fifth position. The seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton had to settle for a sixth-place finish as he was followed by his former teammate Valtteri Bottas in seventh.

Kevin Magnussen is showing his class in the Haas as he claimed the eighth spot followed by Daniel Ricciardo in the ninth position. Mick Schumacher qualified for the Q3 session first time in his life after Norris’ lap time got deleted. He will start tenth on the grid.

McLaren’s Lando Norris would be furious with himself as he was not able to qualify for the Q3 session and will now start tomorrow’s race in the eleventh spot. Alpine’s Esteban Ocon took the twelfth position as he was followed by both the AlphaTauri’s. Yuki Tsunoda settled for a thirteenth place finish and his teammate Pierre Gasly sees himself in the fourteenth position.
Guanyu Zhou takes the fifteenth spot and he is followed by veteran Sebastian Vettel in the sixteenth spot. The home race for another Spaniard Fernando Alonso took the seventeenth position as he was followed by Lance Stroll in the eighteenth spot.
Both the Williams again were the last ones as Alex Albon finished in the nineteenth spot followed by his teammate Nicholas Latifi in the twentieth spot.
