Max Verstappen wins his eighth race of the season in the form of the Hungarian GP. He started the race from the tenth spot after suffering power issues on his last flying lap in the qualifying session but made immense after taking home yet another victory. It was Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and George Russell who finished on the podium once again as it was a consecutive double podium finish for the Silver Arrows.

Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz finished fourth as Red Bull’s Sergio Perez claimed the fifth spot after a great recovery from P11. Charles Leclerc saw another race win denied as it was nobody but Ferrari itself to blame. Recently, the Prancing Horse team have made horrible strategic moves that have cost them points and their drivers too.

F1 Hungarian GP LIVE: Hungarian GP classification

Lando Norris had to settle for seventh place as he was followed by both the Alpine drivers as Fernando Alonso took the eighth spot followed by Esteban Ocon down in the ninth spot. Sebastian Vettel, who announced his retirement on Thursday and before the Hungarian GP saw himself amongst points as he finished tenth.

Lance Stroll had to settle for the eleventh position as Pierre Gasly saw himself finish the race in the twelfth spot. The rookie driver of the season, Guanyu Zhou claimed the thirteenth spot as he was followed by Mick Schumacher in the fourteenth spot. Daniel Ricciardo dropped positions as he had to settle for the fifteenth position as Kevin Magnussen finished sixteenth overall.

Williams duo followed next as Alex Albon took home the seventeenth spot followed by Nicholas Latifi in the eighteenth position. Yuki Tsunoda had a race to forget as he finished last in the nineteenth position as Valtteri Bottas was the only driver who had to retire from the race due to an engine problem.
