The change of chassis happened on Thursday afternoon when the Italian side was completing the final checks on Sainz’s car and had started to assemble it too. Having found the issue, the mechanics totally dismantled the Spanish driver’s F1-75 car. Toward the finish of the checks, Ferrari settled on a chassis change for Carlos Sainz.

As a safety measure, the team selected to change the F1-75 chassis with one that has proactively been in track activity this season. So, that means there will be no grid penalties for the Spanish driver as the chassis has been used before.
It isn’t the first time this season that Ferrari have changed Sainz’s chassis. At the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona the group did likewise for a similar reason, the F1-75 likewise experienced a fuel issue.

During his home end of the week at the Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona in the Spanish Grand Prix, the substitution had shown up on the night between Friday and Saturday.

The first of the three pumps that make up the fuel framework, the low-pressure fuel pump from Marelli, is said to have failed. The second pump in the framework is delegated Open Source (OSC) and was made by the groups. The third is a high-pressure pump provided by Bosch. As replacing the pump is too difficult to do in the pits, utilizing the extra chassis was chosen.
F1 British GP: Carlos Sainz finished second and on the podium at the Canadian Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, Sainz will be hoping to continue his good run of form as he claimed the second spot in the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. Moreover, he is placed fifth overall in the drivers’ standings with 102 points.
