Max Verstappen will be the firm favourite to win this year’s Belgian GP. Whereas, Mercedes’ duo will be looking to assert their dominance and get closer to the raging bulls. But, Ferrari has tasks on their hands as its strategic errors and reliability issues have cost them a handful amount of points.
The great Michael Schumacher has won the most number of races at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps with his tally of 6 wins. Lewis Hamilton has 4 race wins here and Sebastian Vettel is just behind the Brit with 3 race wins. But, last year it was Red Bull’s Max Verstappen who took home his first victory on a rainy day as the race just saw two laps behind the safety car.

F1 Belgian GP LIVE Streaming: DRS zones and track layout of the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.F1 Belgian GP: When was the track built?
The original, triangle-shaped track was made in 1921 and the designers of the track were Jules de Thier and Henri Langlois van Ophem. They used public streets between the towns of Francorchamps, Malmedy, and Stavelot to make an astonishing 14.9km circuit that accommodated forests and hills of the lovely Ardennes district. The track was redeveloped in 1979 and the current circuit is half the length of the old one which makes it the longest on the current F1 calendar.
F1 Belgian GP: When was its first Grand Prix?
The track made its debut in the 1950 season as it was one of the seven tracks used in that year. The race was ultimately won by Juan Manuel Fangio and in second place was his teammate Luigi Fagioli in their Alfa Romeo.
Who won the last Grand Prix?
The 2021 Belgian Grand Prix was won by none other than Red Bull’s Max Verstappen as he was followed by George Russell in second place with Lewis Hamilton settling for a third-place finish on a rainy day.
