Capito after the British GP said, “We don’t know yet whether we will be able to equip both cars with all of our new parts just a few days after this accident.”
The group carried new parts to the British Grand Prix the last end of the week and put them on Alex Albon’s vehicle, to perceive how much performance improvement they would give him contrasted with the old-spec vehicle Nicholas Latifi was running.
Meanwhile, Nicholas Latifi with zero upgrades to his car qualified for the Q3 session at the British GP for the first time in his F1 career. Moreover, the information they might have was restricted at absolute best, with wet running in FP1 meaning not many laps were finished, while in qualifying Albon was out in Q1.
Then, at that point, in the race obviously, Albon was engaged with the main corner shunt, one he, fortunately, moved away from without injury after additional checks at Coventry Hospital. Thus Williams are likely somewhat in obscurity concerning how well the new parts really work.
All ok, the pets are ok 😅 but more importantly I’m glad @ZhouGuanyu24 is ok! Thank you to the medical staff and for all the messages. Eyes already on Austria 👊 pic.twitter.com/15PI86Iooz

Austria comes up this end of the week, in the interim, and while they’ll need to see what enhancements they’ve made, Capito admits it’s difficult to tell whether the two vehicles will be decked out with every one of the new pieces given the short time required to circle back among races and the reality there was such harm caused to Albon’s vehicle.

They buckled down on these redesigns and going into the end of the week they felt like they planned to take note of a few serious increases with them lashed onto Albon’s vehicle.
The race never got going for him, however, and fortunately, he’ll be back in Austria hustling after a terrible episode. It simply is not yet clear the number of new parts that he’ll run with.
