Brazil GP Live: Max Verstappen aims to win 17th Race of the Season from Pole

Max Verstappen is starting from pole position and will be looking to convert it into another win. His closest challenger in the sprint, Lando Norris, is starting down in 6th position.

Max Verstappen has already won 16 Formula 1 Grands Prix this year. He is starting on pole position tomorrow and will aim to convert it into yet another win this season. Luckily for him, all of his closest challengers in the Brazil GP are starting further down the pack. Lando Norris is starting in 6th and Sergio Perez is starting in 10th. Qualifying Troubles

Max Verstappen had a tremendous qualifying for the Brazil GP. However, both the Mercedes cars and Lando Norris fumbled their laps. Moreover, a yellow flag impeded Perez’s lap as well.

For the start of the main race, the cars around Max Verstappen are Charles Leclerc and the two Aston Martins. While Leclerc is quick, the high tyre degradation of the Ferrari cars take him out of contention.

Sprint Learnings

The Brazil GP Sprint taught us a lot about the behaviours of the different Formula 1 cars. The Red Bulls and McLarens had the least tyre degradation. Ferrari had a lot of tyre degradation. However, unexpectedly, Lewis Hamilton had high tyre degradation as well.

Watching the Brazil GP Live will be a spectacle as always. In the sprint itself, there was so much action up and down the field. Over the course of 71 laps, we hope we get a lot more.
