As reported earlier, Brad Pitt and the crew of his upcoming Formula 1-themed movie have reached Silverstone ahead of the 2023 British GP. Movie royalty Joseph Kosinski is leading the crew into this star-studded event. This movie has been a topic of discussion amongst fans and the F1 juggernaut for various reasons over the past year. F1 legend Lewis Hamilton is working closely with the top management of the movie as an advisor.
The Briton is determined to deliver a script that is as close as it gets to the life and reality of being an F1 pilot. Moreover, many are also excited to witness his possible “small cameo”. Though the chances of this happening are slim, fans have held their hopes high since Lewis has not denied the possibility yet. In recent developments, the movie production team has set up two garages in the pit lane.
The style banners above the two doors don the name of Pitt’s character Sonny Hayes and his teammate Joshua Pierce, played by Damson Idris. The upcoming weekend is going to be an exhilarating one for sure. British GP is arguably one of the most exciting and historically rich races on the F1 calendar.

After an exceptional display at the Austrian GP, the team will be hoping for another great outing at the grand Silverstone Circuit. Ferrari will look to close in on Red Bull while Mercedes will ensure a positive race for home duo Hamilton and Russell. However, racing is not the only thing that over 1,50,000 fans will witness this time around.
On-track action for the F1-themed movie has added immensely to the star power at the circuit. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris along with the stunt drivers will take the wheel of an F2-adapted car designed by Mercedes. Earlier, the anticipation was that Directors Jerry Bruckheimer and Joseph Kosinski will include an extra team on track for filming the on-track battles. However, that insinuation is now out of the window.
As per news portal Motorsport, “This weekend’s shoot will be much more high-profile, with spectators able to view scenes on-track and in the pit, which is equipped with a full gantry for replicating tire changes, and film crews are expected to be at more races this season.”
