After getting hit with three penalties during Bahrain Grand Prix, Ocon Realised it was not the ideal start in this season. At just lap 31, the French driver has already been handed multiple penalties. The Alpine driver failed to stop in his grid slot properly at the start of the race, which managed to get him a five-second time penalty. In fact, he hit himself with a hat-trick of penalties in the Bahrain Grand Prix. It was a disastrous slew of penalties that were thrown at him.

He received his second penalty when he came in to serve it the team also elected to change his front wing, but worked on the car too early which earned him another 10-second time penalty. things went south when Ocon was penalised for speeding in the pits.

the alpine driver was furious, he stated that during the testing and in practice he has been doing these things in Formula 1, so “ why give a penalty know ?! “ said Ocon, venting out his frustration.
The last time a driver was penalised three times during a race was Pastor Maldonado, who received three during the 2015 Hungarian Grand Prix.
Ocon will be looking to make up for this in the upcoming races, especially after seeing ex-teammate Fernando Alonso shine brightly with Aston Martin, and make it to an outstanding podium
