Azerbaijan GP Live Streaming: Formula 1 Live Streaming: Formula 1 is back after an extended break. Azerbaijan is set to host the first sprint race of the Formula One season on its streets in Baku, and the event is expected to be chaotic and entertaining. The new sprint format will see drivers racing for points on Saturday, knowing that the outcome will not affect their position on the grid for Sunday’s main race. While the teams have voted unanimously in favor of the new format, some teams are concerned that it could backfire on a tricky city circuit like Baku where high speeds can lead to damages.
Red Bull boss Christian Horner called the idea of holding the first sprint race of the year on a street circuit “absolutely ludicrous,” while Haas boss Guenther Steiner agreed there could be “carnage.”
However, despite the concerns, Red Bull starts as the favorite, having won all three races so far this season, twice finishing in a one-two position. Meanwhile, Fernando Alonso is chasing his fourth podium in a row with Aston Martin. Ferrari, meanwhile, would be hoping for a top 5 finish.
