Alfa Romeo F1 team has released a one-off special livery for the upcoming Belgium GP at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps. After a rollercoaster of a weekend in the Hungarian GP, the Hinwil-based team will look to make a comeback. Driver duo of Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu have put on some stellar displays at the track this season but none with consistency.
The team currently stands at the penultimate spot in the constructors’ standing, only ahead of Alpha Tauri. Till now, the driver duo of Bottas and Zhou have finished in points on a combined four occasions in 11 races. In Hungary, after a P5 and P7 qualifying, they looked set to get a major boost in points. However, it turned out to be a total fiasco as Zhou got involved in a huge first-lap mess.
Though the duo put up a great fight back, none could ultimately enter the points. Now, as we move to Spa for the upcoming Belgian GP, the team will look to maximize their chances once again. For this exceptionally sought-after race, the Swiss team has now released a new livery.

Alfa Romeo partners up with Kick
The Swiss team is known for its signature classy liveries. Though not the fastest on the grid, Alfa Romeo certainly gives other teams a run for their money when it comes to liveries. This time around as well, it’s a similar story. In the newly-released livery, the new red and black look has been updated with neon green accents and additional branding, including the names of the most prominent KICK personalities on the halo device.
“KICK has been disrupting its market sector since its inception, and the livery they created for us for Spa fits into this philosophy: it is different, it is striking, it is something designed to be different and create attention,” said Alfa Romeo representative as reported by RacingNews365.
“Their focus on creators, which is very clearly exemplified in the car livery itself, is not dissimilar to how we operate as a team: our strength, and the strength of the platform, is only as sizeable as that of those who contribute to it – in our case, our team members trackside and at home,” he added.
It will be extraordinary to see how the duo of Bottas and Zhou perform in this newly-packaged Alfa Romeo C43.
