Right now Verstappen’s contract with Red Bull is till 2023. However, his new contract would see him stay at Red Bull for a significantly extended period. Right now Max was seen in the pre-season testing in Barcelona where he got to drive the brand new RB18. He would be driving the car to defend his title in the 2022 season.
Max also came out in support of Michael Masi, who was the race director in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last year. He said, “For me, it’s very unfair what happened to Michael. He was really being thrown under the bus. Now, that they did sack him like that in the first place for me is unacceptable. And now basically that they sacked him is really incredible.
