One of the most successful teams in F1, McLaren is providing this opportunity to the young Indian driver as Daruvala will test their MCL35 car at England’s famous Silverstone circuit on 21st and 22nd June 2022.

Jehan has had a great start to the 2022 season in Formula 2 as he sees himself in the third spot with 73 points. He has had four second-place finishes so far and in the last race in Baku, he claimed the fourth spot.

He is the next generation of Indian drivers who are making a name for themselves in the sport. Moreover, he is taking the legacy of the Indian drivers ahead in the pinnacle of motorsport.
Daruvala has shown great promise early on in his racing career and if he continues his great run of form then he might someday see himself in the Formula 1, competing with 19 world-class drivers.

Meanwhile, there were two more Indian drivers who took part in Formula 1 and these names include Narain Karthikeyan and famous F1 commentator Karun Chandhok.
Formula 1: Karun Chandhok was signed by HRT in 2010.Karthikeyan made his F1 debut in 2005 at the Australian Grand Prix for the team Jordan. He finished 18th overall that year with just 5 points to his name and his best finish was P4 at the United States Grand Prix.
Formula 1: Narain Karthikeyan made his F1 debut in 2005 at the Australian Grand Prix for the team Jordan.Then he joined the HRT team in 2011 where he raced til 2012 and in both the seasons, he finished 26th and 24th overall with zero points to his name. Meanwhile, his last race in F1 was the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix.
Moreover, Karun was signed by HRT in 2010 and his debut came at the Bahrain Grand Prix that year. His next season was his last in the sport and he finished both the seasons in 22nd and 28th positions with zero points.
