Formula 1: Inspector Seb returns as he switches on detective mode after Imola GP: Formula 1 fans saw the return of ‘Inspector Seb’ in Imola GP as Sebastian Vettel was seen examining the cars in Parc Ferme – something that the Aston Martin driver has often been caught doing. In a video uploaded by Formula 1, Vettel is seen checking Red Bull’s RB18 and then he moved to Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari to examine the rear-wing, before comparing it with his own AMR22 (Aston Martin). He again goes back to the rear of the Ferrari to see if there’s any difference from his car.

This is the umpteenth incident when Vettel has his 007 mode on. Previously, we have seen Inspector Seb in the 2021 pre-season testing and also in the Sochi GP in 2018, where he was caught checking Lewis Hamilton’s left rear tyre.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel sees himself down in the fourteenth position in the Drivers’ standings. He only has four points to his name after four races in the 2022 season. He first took part in the Australian Grand Prix where he registered a DNF against his name.
However, the four-time world champion made a strong comeback at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix as he finished in the eight position. The German has scored the most points for Aston Martin this season as his teammate Lance Stroll is eighteenth in the Drivers’ standings with just 1 point to his name.
