They advertised it as an exclusive interview with the F1 icon before admitting it contained artificial intelligence-generated comments from him. The family told ESPN that they had plans to take legal action against Die Aktuelle which happens to be a weekly German gossip publication.

How his life completely changed was the focus of the interview. It took the most of a double-page spread. Up until it was discovered that it was produced by an AI chatbot, it was promoted as an interview with Schumacher despite having hints regarding its validity.

However, Die Aktuelle makes no mention of the specific program that was employed. The interface in the article’s screenshots, however, has a very recognisable character to its AI. It is a programme currently in beta that uses neural language models.

Michael’s family is very protective of him. His wife, Corinna stopped speaking about Michael publicly after the accident. They were being extremely private with his condition and do not want to share updates with people. However, they provided very few updates for the Netflix documentary Schumacher from 2021.

There is no doubt that his privacy was breached and therefore they will be taking legal action against the German.
Additionally, his wife filed a legal claim at the Cologne Regional Court against three newspapers after they published images of her at the Grenoble hospital where Schumacher received post-accident treatment in 2014.
