Formula 1: Daniel Ricciardo lands in more trouble, FIA asks McLaren driver to explain objectionable message on helmet: McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo seemed to be sending a fairly clear message when he composed the letters ‘FEA’ on his helmet at the Monaco Grand Prix the last end of the week. Be that as it may, the Australian has demanded the abbreviation was ‘really not aimed at anybody’ explicitly. Follow Formula 1 Live Updates on InsideSport.IN.
The initials for FEA are believed to stand for ‘F*** ’em all’. Daniel after the Monaco Grand Prix said, “I put it on my helmet in 2018 as well. I like to use acronyms to pump me up. It’s honestly not directed at anyone, it’s something that I’ve said for a few years, and it just kind of gets me in my happy place.”

“I think as well, as a driver, you put the helmet on and that’s also very significant of flipping the switch. It’s one of the last things I’ll see when I put the helmet on. So it reminds me to channel in and get into the zone,” Ricciardo added.
The Australian signed a three-year contract with McLaren last year and his deal will end in 2023. But, his performances are not up to the mark as he endured a poor start to the 2022 season.

Zak Brown, the CEO of McLaren wants to see Daniel Ricciardo ‘close to his teammate Lando Norris’ on the track for an intra-team battle. A thirteenth spot finish in Monaco and his fourth consecutive outcome outside the top 10 has left Ricciardo eleventh in the drivers’ standings.
