“I’m glad to have joined BJP… I feel that PM Modi’s work for the nation makes him the right Prime Minister. So, I thought why not be a part of his governance for the nation’s development. I joined BJP after being influenced by BJP’s national policy,” he said after joining the party, as quoted by ANI.

Former WWE Wrestler The Great Khali joins Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi
The 49-years-old is an Indian professional wrestler, wrestling promoter, and actor. He has appeared in four Hollywood films, two Bollywood flicks and several television shows including The Bigg Boss. The show had made special arrangements for Khali, including a custom-made bed.
Before making it big in the WWE, Khali made his professional wrestling debut in 2000.
The 7ft tall superstar Khali also held the World Heavyweight Championship in the 2007-08 season. On November 13, 2014, Khali’s contract with the WWE expired and he left the industry. He was inducted into the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame.
Not many know but Khali has also served as an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Punjab Police.
