Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to struggle to RECOVER from this knee injury, as a result of which he is set to RETIRE from football. As per the report citing Gazzetta Dello, Sport Ibrahimovic will then take up an ambassadorial role with AC Milan once he hangs up his boots.

According to reports, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been recovering from a knee operation since last summer. The striker is hoping to make his return for AC Milan during the Champions League last-16 tie with Tottenham. While he will miss the first leg on February 14 at San Siro, there are doubts over his availability for the second leg in London on March 8.
Back in September last year, Zlatan had decided against bringing an end to his 24-year playing career despite being sidelined indefinitely with an anterior cruciate ligament injury. While speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport he said “I am arrogant, zero fear. I’m well, I’m working every day to come back. You will surely see it. When I come back, I will be heard, you can count on it. I will do it with violence. Patience is needed, that’s the key now”.
