Hyderabad FC is currently facing internal turmoil, compounded by apparent financial challenges. Adding to their woes, the General Manager of Hotel Ramada in Jamshedpur has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Hyderabad FC co-owners, including Rana Daggubati, for non-payment of bills related to 23 rooms over a period of three days during their away game against Jamshedpur FC.
The management of Hotel Ramada has lodged a case of fraud at the Bistupur police station against the owner, manager of the Hyderabad football team, and others, including actor Rana Daggubati. Rana Daggubati serves as the owner of the Hyderabad football team, and the case extends to the team’s manager and additional individuals. The accused individuals, besides Daggubati, are Vijay Madhuri, Varun Tripuraneni, Nitin Mohan, Anthony Thomas, Suresh Gopal Krishna, Ranganath Reddy, and TK Balaji.
During the period from the 3rd to the 6th of October, the football team occupied 23 rooms at Ramada, with an advance payment of one lakh rupees. However, on the morning of October 6th, the entire team departed from the hotel without settling the outstanding bill.
Despite multiple attempts through calls and written emails to team officials, no response was received. Consequently, the General Manager of Hotel Ramada has filed an FIR against the team owner, manager, and other implicated individuals.
This recent development further exacerbates the already precarious financial situation of the club. Hyderabad FC has recently encountered its second transfer ban within a year due to its failure to meet salary obligations to former players Nestor Gordillo and Bartholomew Ogbeche.
Amidst grappling with off-field challenges, the on-field performance of Hyderabad FC remains equally dismal. The team currently finds itself at the bottom of the table, having yet to secure a single victory. The compounded difficulties of losing key foreign players and facing a transfer ban significantly impact Hyderabad FC, casting a shadow over the team’s prospects for the ongoing season.
