Winter Transfers: Which teams are interested in signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United?

Marcus Rashford has made just 15 Premier League appearances this season

Ace English forward Marcus Rashford looks increasingly ready to leave Premier League giants Manchester United. The player has reportedly fallen out with new manager Ruben Amorin. And it is believed that the best option for both parties would be that the player goes on a for a short loan spell till the summer. Tensions were heightened when Rashford told the media that he is now ready for a new challenge.

A lot of European clubs have expressed their desire to rope in the star player. Spanish giants Barcelona have addressed their admiration for the forward for quite some time now. Apart from interest from Newcastle United, Italian giants AC Milan are a very strong contender to bring in the star player.

AC Milan

Italian giants AC Milan have entered into the fray to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United. The Milan Reds are however keen on bringing in the star player on a loan deal. As reported by Sky Sports, negotiations continue, Milan would want the Manchester Reds to pay a portion of Rashford’s huge salary of £300,000 a week.

The Italian club would be a perfect place for the 27-year-old forward to revive his career. With his game time decreasing, a trip to Serie A would be the best plausible option. So far in this season in the Premier League, Rashford has played in 15 games, scoring 4 times and assisting only once. Apart from Milan, reports claim Napoli and Juventus are also monitoring the situation.

Barcelona

Spanish giants Barcelona have been huge admirers of Marcus Rashford for quite some time. However, a move to the Catalan giants looks very difficult owing to the financial constraints of the club. Barcelona has failed to register Dani Olmo in time and has taken the matter to the Supreme Court.

As reported by Football365, Barcelona would be unable to register the player but can do so if they go on to take Rashford as a part of a player swap deal. Either Ronald Araujo or Frenkie de Jong are set to be involved in the deal to Manchester United.

Newcastle United

Apart from other European clubs, another club that has garnered interest is Newcastle United. While no negotiations have taken place as reported by SportBible, Rashford has suggestively offered himself to Newcastle.

However, at this moment it remains to be seen what happens. A loan move in the Premier League is something that Manchester United wouldn’t be too keen on.
