Al Nassr forward and Portugal international, Cristiano Ronaldo recently shared a video on his social media account. He took a lie detector test in association with Binance. He was asked some tough questions during the session. The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner was asked whether he would swap his Champions League trophies for the World Cup while undergoing a lie detector test.
The former Real Madrid star is one of the greatest players in the world. He has won five UEFA Champions League trophies and is also the top scorer in the competition with 141 goals. Ronaldo is currently playing in Saudi but he already left a legacy in UEFA competitions. Meanwhile, his success was extraordinary in club football but he didn’t add the same charm with his national side.
The Portugal superstar failed to win a FIFA World Cup title. He has participated in five different editions of the tournament with Portugal but never reached the podium. Portugal’s best FIFA performance came in 2006 when they reached the semi-finals. However, Portugal won the Euro Championship and Nations League with Ronaldo but the FIFA World Cup trophy is missing.
Ronaldo was asked during his lie detector test with Binance, Ronaldo was asked if he would trade all five of his Champions League medals for one World Cup trophy. Ronaldo feels that undergoing a lie detector test is one of his “hardest challenges yet”, with the Al Nassr striker being left with nowhere to hide. The 38-year-old faced a series of questions to get his true feelings on a number of topics. Ronaldo has scored more international goals (123) than any other player in the men’s international football and recently completed 200 matches for Portugal.
Ronaldo is now playing for Al Nassr and recently got a hat trick to find a maiden victory in the Saudi Pro League. He guided them to silverware this month by winning the Arab Cup. He has scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 22 games across competitions for Al Nassr. Al-Nassr currently placed 10th in the league table and they will next host Al-Shabab on Tuesday.
