After delivering a powerful overhand right in the second round, KSI had Fournier on his feet and got the stoppage shortly after. However, an immediate response revealed that the fight was ended by an elbow.

Fournier Demands KSI Rematch: How Come KSI Victory Over Joe Fournier Turn Into A No Decision

 KSI appeared to have caught Fournier with a nasty illegal elbow in the second round, which led to a knockout win and his remaining undefeated in seven fights. Jake Paul too called out the YouTuber after catching his act of using the illegal elbow to knock out KSI. Various other fans too showed their dissatisfaction on various social media platforms.

As a fairly seasoned opponent, Fournier was anticipated to be KSI’s biggest challenge of his fledgling boxing career. Instead, the elbow missed, and the 29-year-old won by knockout for the fourth time in a row.

However, because it happened so quickly and the referee did not appear to notice, Fournier was declared out and KSI was first given the victory.

The result is now ruled out and will no longer appear on either man’s record as a victory or a defeat, according to the PBA’s official verdict on Friday.

“Today, on May 19, 2023, Mr. Joe Fournier and KSI were told of a ‘Reviewed Decision’ that was undertaken by Mr. Gareth Morris, the referee in charge of the match on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the OVO Arena, Wembley, London, United Kingdom, according to their statement.
