England’s WAGs are planning to stay in a luxurious German castle during EURO 2024, with some options costing up to £1,750 a night. They will be staying about 150 miles away from their partners. Manager Gareth Southgate prefers to keep players focused by minimizing off-field distractions, as he aims to end England’s 58-year wait for a major international trophy.
After a heartbreaking penalty shootout loss to Italy in Euro 2020, Southgate’s team is one of the favourites for EURO 2024. They are in a group with Serbia, Denmark, and Slovenia, and will play their first game in Gelsenkirchen on June 16.

England WAGs to stay in lavish German castle during Euro 2024
The England team will stay at the five-star Golfresort Weimarer Land in Blankenhain. Meanwhile, the WAGs are considering staying at a castle. The group includes Charlotte Trippier, Megan Pickford, Fern Maguire, Annie Walker, and Luke Shaw’s partner, Anouska Santos..
The group is likely to stay at the Schlosshotel Kronberg, where rooms can cost up to £1,750 a night. It offers two restaurants, a golf course, and even Porsche rentals. Another option is the Schloss Auel Boutique Hotel, a 14th-century castle in Lohmar, featuring a golf course, Michelin-star chefs, and a luxury spa.
The WAGs want to relax and enjoy themselves after the restrictions in Qatar but still value their privacy. Southgate has promised that families will be able to meet the players, but he will decide when and how this will happen once the tournament starts.
