Kylian Mbappe’s final home game for French champions Paris Saint Germain did not quite turn out how one expected it to be. The stage was set for Mbappe to say his final goodbyes to the Paris faithful in a grand manner. He started the night with a promise, scoring a goal, but a 1-3 defeat to Toulouse marred the night, with Mbappe getting booed by the home supporters.
No glory for Mbappe in final game
Wearing the captain’s armband, Kylian Mbappe scored the first goal of the match against Toulouse, bringing his season total to 44 goals across all competitions. However, Thijs Dallinga quickly equalised for the visitors before Yann Gboho put Toulouse ahead with a brilliant strike in the second half. Frank Magri wrapped up the win in stoppage time as PSG suffered just their second Ligue 1 loss this season, and their first in 27 games since September.

Mbappe booed
When the teams were announced prior to kickoff, the crowd jeered at the striker, but there was also a massive display at one end of the stadium that showed Mbappe in his signature pose, with his arms folded.
The club, owned by Qatar, had just secured its record-breaking 12th French championship and 10th in the previous 12 years, when they took on Toulouse, a team that was safe from any potential relegation.
