Mo Salah was on international duty with Egypt. His side beat Sierra Leone 2-0 in Liberia through a double strike from Trezeguet. During the game, Mohamed Abdelmonem also chased away a yob. Fan sprinted at him from the stands in the 89th minute. Egyptian staff also rushed and formed a protective ring around the Liverpool winger and escorted him off the pitch safely.
Mo Salah assisted the second goal for Egypt and they secured vital three points. Salah’s national team have won both games to take the top spot in Africa’s World Cup qualifying Group A.
