Manchester United Acamdemy kid Alejandro Garnacho, was spotted wearing Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr shirt ahead of his return to team training. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Garnacho’s admiration for Portugal’s captain is well-established. He has already imitated the goal celebration of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. They appeared together six times for the Red Devils, scoring one goal each. Ronaldo assisted Garnacho’s first senior goal for the Red Devils.

In a backyard, the 19-year-old Red Devil sensation was spotted practicing keepie uppies in his Ronaldo shirt. This comes before he joins the club for pre-season in preparation for the upcoming Premier League season.
Meanwhile, Garnacho established himself as a key player of the Red Devils’ senior team during the 2022-23 season. Last season, the Argentine made 34 appearances, scoring five goals and provided five assists across all competitions.
United is trying to improve on the previous season by adding to the roster. Erik ten Hag, the Dutch manager, has already brought in talent in the form of Mason Mount from Chelsea. Andre Onana of Inter Milan is now being highly associated with the club.

He was even tipped to wear Cristiano Ronaldo’s number 7 shirt in 2023-24.Because of his fast feet and skillful play style, Garnacho has been labelled a potential heir to Ronaldo. Earlier this year, the striker signed a long-term contract with Manchester United.
Mason Mount, on the other hand, has been allocated that number since moving from Chelsea. The winger will shortly join the United team and participate in pre-season activities as the Red Devils prepare to play Lyon and Arsenal in their next two games.
