Germany and Bayern Munich Legen Oliver Kahn has returned to India to learn about the football development in the country. Kahn was spotted arriving at the Delhi airpot on 7th November early in the morning. A few days ago, he took to Twitter to announce his intention to visit the city after 15 years since 2008.

FC Bayern Munich came to India on May 27, 2008, which was 15 years ago, for Oliver Kahn’s last match. In front of a raucous crowd in Kolkata, India’s Yuba Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium), Bayern Munich took on Mohun Bagan.

At the final game of legendary custodian Oliver Kahn, almost 130,000 fans packed the stadium to see his majesty in person. It was the biggest audience he had ever performed for, he said.

Most people agree that Oliver Kahn is among the all-time best goalkeepers. He was the recipient of several honours, including the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Euro, both at the club and international levels. The eight-time Bundesliga champion participated in the match for 55 minutes.
