Since Halloween is upon us, some of the sport’s biggest names have taken to social media to share some of their best Halloween costumes and party wear for parties, events and so on.
The Rock on song
Dwayne Johnson may have beaten others with his quirky outfit. Johnson posted a photo of himself in a blonde wig. He wore a Manchester United shirt with the words ‘Beckham 7’ on the jersey’s back.
The WWE star and actor also posted a funny video in full costume. He controlled the a ball before gazing intently at the camera.
In the caption, Johnson wrote: ‘265lb BLA-MOAN BECKHAM #7 on the field #1 in your heart. Happy Halloween, my friends. BlaMoan = Black + Samoan. #BendItLikeABlaMoan #TaurusEnergy #May2ndBabies’.
The post caught a lot of attention, with Beckham himself joining the fun. “I mean I thought I was looking in the mirror. Looking good man you might need a bigger jersey,” Beckham commented on the post.
Beckham later posted some pictures of Rock in his Haloween get up. “And the winner is @therock looking good man I know what I’m going as next year,” Beckham jokingly captioned the post.
In recent weeks, Beckham has been in the spotlight following the release of a four part Netflix documentary about his life and career.
On Monday, Beckham was in Paris to present Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi with the trophy. The Argentine superstar, who plays for Inter Miami, won his eighth Ballon d’Or. Beckham is now a co-owner of Inter Miami. It must have been a moment of pride for the former England international to present the Ballon d’Or to his club’s player.
