Cristiano Ronaldo was not quite impressed with his Portugal teammate Bruno Fernandes’ tactical advice before the start of second half. Portugal was in action for the Euro 2024 qualifying game against Iceland and Bruno gave an early lead to his team in the 37th minute. He wanted to carry this momentum in the second half so he had a discussion in the tunnel.
Man United midfielder was seen having an animated discussion in the tunnel before the second half. The 29-year-old was eager to get his point across to the his teammates. However, the video showed that no players were not looking too interested in hearing their captain’s words.
Al Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo turned and moved towards the pitch after a short advise from Bruno. He moved in the direction of Silva before raising his eyebrows towards a nearby camera. Bruno Fernandes also joined them in the ground and Portugal continued their domination in the second half.
Portugal found their second goal through Ricardo Horta and they secured an easy 2-0 win over Iceland. The win meant Portugal maintained their 100% winning record in UEEFA Euro qualifiers.
