CR7’s ‘unCR7-like’ statue
Now it has emerged that a unique artwork welcomed CR7 during his recent trip to Iran with Al-Nassr. The hotel in which the team resided decided to erect a statue of him. The statue was placed at the hotel’s lobby before CR7’s arrival.

Cristiano Ronaldo arrived on his first visit to Iran with the Saudi football club Al Nassr a few days ago. The team visited the middle-eastern country to play Persepolis in AFC Champions League on September 19.
Hundreds of soccer fans stormed into the Al Nassr hotel in Tehran to catch a glimpse of the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner. Chants of “Ronaldo, Ronaldo,” were heard all day long around the team hotel. Fans pushed past police, filling the corridors and public spaces of the Espians Palace Hotel.
To talk about the superstar, Ronaldo is enjoying his time at the Saudi club. He recently helped Al Nassr get full points against Al Ta’ee by scoring an 86th minute penalty. Al Nassr is just one point behind league leaders Al-Ittihad. Ronaldo’s team has 18 points from 8 matches and are the third placed team in the SPL table. CR7 has so far scored 10 goals in this campaign.
