SAFF Championship 2023: The Pakistani football team is all set to arrive in Bengaluru today. The visa issue, as reported earlier, is not an issue with both governments having issued permissions for the same. The India vs Pakistan clash will go as planned and there won’t be a change in SAFF Championship schedule.
“There is no VISA trouble. The Pakistan team will arrive in Bangalore at 10 PM today from Mumbai. The VISA issue was long cleared with both governments issuing permissions. There will be no change in schedule. The India vs Pakistan game will go as per planned,” a source close to the developments told Insidesport.IN
The Pakistan Football Federation received a NOC from the Ministry of IPC on Friday to take part in the next SAFF Championship 2023 in India. The Pakistani delegation is scheduled to depart from Mauritius and arrive in India on June 18.The India vs Pakistan game is scheduled on 21st June at Kanteerava.

On May 25, the Pakistan Football Federation submitted a NOC request. The Federation had also used twitter when the NOC’s issuance was delayed. However, the issue was quickly resolved, although the squad is still unsure about the participation without VISAs. Additionally, the PFF released a video in which the players requested that the PSB and the foreign office expedite the issuing of NOCs.
The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Cup will be hosted in India, and the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) was granted a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) by the nation’s Foreign Office on Thursday.

The games are slated to take place at Bengaluru’s Sree Kanteerava Stadium from June 21 to July 4. The men’s football squad from Pakistan is in Group A with the hosts India, Kuwait, and Nepal. On June 21, they will play India, their fiercest adversary.
Kuwait and Nepal will play the first match of the SAFF Championship 2023 on June 21 in Bengaluru, followed by India and Pakistan later that day. On June 22, Lebanon takes on Bangladesh in the morning while the Maldives takes on Bhutan in the afternoon in Group B. The semi-finals, which will take place on July 1, will include the top two teams from each group, with the final taking place on July 4.
