UEFA Champions League: Liverpool thrash Porto 5-1 to keep perfect record in Group B- Liverpool maintained their flawless start in Champions League Group B with a healthy 5-1 win against Porto. Jurgen Klopp’s side battled to beat AC Milan 3-2 at Anfield the last time out and made easy work of Porto to establish their position. 2 goals each were scored by Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane added 1 goal.

Salah added a second at the 60th-minute mark, after another assist by Jones. However, Liverpool faces a tough game in the Premier League against defending champions Manchester City which is why Klopp took off Milner, Salah, and Mane.
Mehdi Taremi header scored for Porto hope in 74th minute but they still trailed. To make things worse for the Portuguese side, a brace from substitute Firmino ensured Liverpool didn’t let up.
Firmino had his second, via a lengthy wait for VAR, on 83 minutes as he pounced on a Jones rebound to the net. He scored the 1st goal from long range.
