The French side is all set to host the LaLiga leaders at their home ground, the Le Parc des Princes in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16.

But, the center-back from Spain will not be a part of today’s clash as he is sidelined with a calf injury. Also, Sergio Ramos has still not returned to the training with the PSG team.

The PSG club has released a statement on Monday. It says, “Sergio Ramos will continue his individual training for his calf injury. A new evaluation will be made later this week.”

Since his arrival from Real Madrid, Ramos has only been part of just four Ligue 1 games. The most recent injury he sustained was ‘a low-grade’ injury to his right calf in training at the end of January. Ramos has been plagued with injuries since he arrived at PSG.

The president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has made it clear that Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid is inevitable. He said, “I’ll be clear, Kylian is going to stay with us at PSG. We are never going to sell him and he’ll never leave for free.”

Kylian Mbappe always dreamt of playing for the Spanish giants. And, he was taken aback when he got to know this. He found it ‘scary’.

When he was a child he always saw himself in that Real Madrid t-shirt. In his childhood days, his bedroom was filled with pictures of Cristiano Ronaldo in a Real Madrid jersey. So, when he talks about donning the famous all-white stripes, he means it literally.

Real Madrid even offered Paris Saint-Germain a whopping €220 million (£189m/$260m) just before the close of the transfer window. But, PSG were unmoved and didn’t even took it into consideration of selling their youth-program player for such a staggering price.

Tonight, Kylian Mbappe will be facing Real Madrid in the Round of 16 in the Champions League. He will obviously be charged up as PSG looks to draw first blood at the Le Parc des Princes.
