Touchline spat with Mohamed Salah ‘completely resolved’, claims Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp

With three games remaining and a draw last weekend, Liverpool's hopes of adding to their Carabao Cup title in Klopp's final season as manager are in shambles.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on Friday stated that the conflict he had with forward Mohamed Salah from last weekend’s draw against West Ham, has “completely” been resolved. During Saturday’s 2-2 draw at the London Stadium, Salah and Klopp were seen arguing on the touchline by the television cameras. The Egypt international said, “There is going to be fire today if I speak,” following the game without disclosing the cause of the argument.

No problem at all: Klopp

During a press conference on Friday, Klopp stated that the two had moved on but did not elaborate on the reason behind their argument.

Completely resolved. It’s no problem. If we didn’t know each other for so long I’m not sure how we would deal with it but we know each other for that long and respect each other too much,” Klopp said.

It’s really no problem so we can deal with these kind of things completely independent of any expectations from the outside.

We are absolutely fine with it but in general the best situation would be, everybody in the best possible place, we win the game, score lots of goals and yes the situation probably would not have been like that. It all depends on each other,” Klopp added.
