There have been no discussions about extending his tenure in north London thus far. Instead, Daniel Levy is keeping a tab on Fulham boss Marco Silva. Sources indicate that if Conte does depart, Fulham manager Silva is one of the top candidates to take over the role at Spurs. Silva, a Portuguese coach, has had an impressive season at Craven Cottage, leading the team to automatic promotion back to the Premier League last May.

After sacking Jose Mourinho in April and failing to secure the services of several high-profile managers, they eventually appointed Nuno Espirito Santo, who was dismissed after only 10 Premier League games before being replaced by Conte.
Conte had signed an 18-month contract in November 2021, with the option of an additional year, and led the team to a fourth-place finish in the previous season.
Despite spending £170m during the summer transfer window, Tottenham is struggling to secure a top-four finish by May, trailing 18 points behind their arch-rivals and the top-ranked Gunners.
Conte has also faced criticism lately for his squad selections and playing style, following Tottenham’s elimination from both the FA Cup fifth round by Sheffield United and the Champions League last 16 by AC Milan.
