Tottenham New Coach: The departure of Tottenham Hotspur boss, Antonio Conte has become a matter of when and not if. As the club is looking for a new coach, they could go for ex-Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel. However, even though Tuchel has been a Spurs fan since he was a child, it will take the Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy some convincing for Tuchel to join. He will need confirmation that he will be given everything he will need for success. Follow Premier League LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.
Tottenham Hotspur lost another chance for silverware when they drew 0-0 against AC Milan in the 2nd leg of the Champions League round of 16. The Italian side knocked Spurs out of the competition with a 1-0 scoreline on aggregate.

This lengthened the club’s bad luck as they got knocked out of two competitions in the manner of 10 days. They even lost their last Premier League game against Wolves by a 1-0 margin. This has put their position in the league table in jeopardize. They are now only 3 points ahead of the 5th place Liverpool with 1 extra match played.
These factors have put Conte’s departure from the club certain. Conte’s contract expires in the summer and there are no intentions of extending it from either side of the parties. There’s no indication that he will be driven out of the club with any hurries. However, if Spurs continue to lose matches and eventually their position in the league table, then a new coach could be appointed much sooner than expected.

The club is looking towards two options for their new coach – the ex-Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel and ex-Spurs coach, Mauricio Pochettino. Tuchel was relieved from Chelsea in a shocking exit back in September 2022. Tuchel in his managerial career took PSG to the 2019-20 Champions League final and then Chelsea to the 2020-21 Champions League final. After his sacking from Chelsea, he has been waiting for an offer from an elite club.
On one occasion, Tuchel said that he was a Spurs fan as he was growing up. Hence, he could be interested to take on the job, but Daniel Levy would need to convince him that he will be provided with all the tools he would need.
On the other hand, Pochettino is a fan favourite. he led Spurs to the 2018-19 Champions final and fans still would love to see him taking the wheel. Some other managers who are being considered for the job are – ex-Barcelona and Spain coach Luis Enrique, Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner, and Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.
