Thousands of fans invade pitch as Manchester City clinch historic 4th consecutive Premier League title

Manchester City broke the hearts of Arsenal as the Citizens clinched the Premier League 2023/24 title which was followed by fans storming the Etihad pitch

The winning spree continued for Manchester City, etched their name deeper into Premier League history books today as they became the first team ever to win four consecutive titles. The Etihad Stadium erupted in a frenzy of celebration as the final whistle blew on a 3-1 victory against West Ham United, securing all three points needed to claim the 2023/24 season crown.

The win ignited a wave of euphoria amongst City fans. Thousands erupted in celebration, pouring onto the pitch in a joyous display of passion. The Etihad transformed into a sea of sky blue as supporters swarmed the field, some even embracing their jubilant players.

Heartbreak for Arsenal, delight for Citizens

Manchester City’s relentless pursuit of victory throughout the season was on display once again. Despite Arsenal’s hopes for a City slip-up, Guardiola’s side held firm, finishing the season with a staggering 28 wins and 91 points. While Arsenal secured a win against Everton in their final match, their 89 points ultimately fell short.

For City, it was Phil Foden, who put the Citizens in front, striking twice in the first 18 minutes. While Mohammed Kudus’ outstanding overhead kick put some trouble for the hosts, a delightful goal by Rodri sealed the deal.
